Set in the beautiful countryside of Rosehaugh Estate on
Ross-shire's Black Isle near the historic fishing village of
Avoch, and around 15 miles from Inverness, we are pleased to offer

each one is an historic Estate building which has played its own
important role in
past times on the Estate.

The Boat House
stands on a hillside just above a small lake.
It is a cantilevered, two storey, oak framed building with
a half timber gable and pink Rosemary tiles. Originally
built as a boat-house at the water level on a much larger
lake, it has been renovated, and sympathetically extended.

Otter Lodge
is an imposing stone building set in the
valley below the lake, close to the Horseshoe Falls.
Formerly known as the Power House, it
used to be the power generating station supplying
electricity to the Estate. Derelict and roofless for
many years, it has been beautifully restored and is
now an elegant and luxurious holiday home. As the picture on the
left shows, the water that used to turn the generating turbines
still flows beneath Otter Lodge, but the stream is now beneath
the floor and we provide a viewing window down to it.

Formerly the laundry building,
Red Kite House is a
wonderful building in the English Vernacular style, with harled
and pebble dashed walls and dormer windows in the upper storey.
Now divided into two apartments, Osprey downstairs sleeps
6, and the upper apartment, Red Squirrel sleeps 4.
To bring a larger party, both apartments can be taken together,
the dining table in Osprey extends to accomodate 10
people.
Set on the top of the hill above the Boat House, on the edge of some
magnificent trees, Red Kite House is a hidden gem.
