Rosehaugh Estate is a beautiful place to spend a
holiday. We have two unique and historically
interesting properties to offer, each very different
from the other, but both delightful.
The Boat House
has two en-suite bedrooms each with king-sized double
bed, whereas the
Power House
has one en-suite bedroom with king-sized double bed
and one twin single bedded room next to a family
bathroom.
The Power House and the Boat House are around
300 yards apart, so if you want to bring a
party of up to eight people you can do so by booking
both houses. The Power House has a large
living-dining room, with a dining table that extends
to accommodate eight people with comfort, so if you do
bring a joint party to Rosehaugh, you can all eat
together whenever you want to.
The Boat House has a steep spiral staircase giving
access to the upper floor so it is not suitable for
disabled people. Also it is very close to the lake, and
has a balcony running along the upper level, so it is
not suitable for children under the age of 12.
The Power House being further from the lake, and on one
level throughout is suitable for children and disabled
people. If you are bringing children to the Power House
you should be aware that the Goose Burn flows close
beside the house. It can be very fast after heavy rain.
You are welcome to bring one well-behaved dog to either
property, as long as we are informed at the time that
you make the booking. Your dog must be safe with farm
animals. No other pets are allowed in the properties.
