The new wing downstairs is an open plan dining and kitchen room. Although the Boat House sleeps four people, the dining table seats six people comfortably, and we provide plenty or cutlery, crockery and glass ware. The kitchen is also well supplied with cooking equipment. We provide fridge, freezer, microwave oven, traditional oven and hobs, kettle, toaster, radio, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier and pay phone.

A second door from the lounge gives access to the master bedroom, with king sized double bed. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. The bedroom has a door leading onto the balcony, and a casement window with deep sill looking down the lake to the Douglas pines beyond the dam wall. The Boat House has a steep spiral staircase giving access to the upper floor so it is not suitable for disabled people. Also it is very close to the lake, and has a balcony running along the upper level, so it is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
